Purpose in the Pain

You are being TRUSTED with your pain - for a higher purpose

I watched Life Today this morning and saw John Gray speak about some of the struggles he went through. As he began speaking, I knew this would be shared on this blog! “When you are going through struggles in your life, it is not God sentencing you to pain, it is God TRUSTING you with the pain; because if you can be trusted with the pain, you can be trusted with the treasure” Yes!! There are hard-won treasures available through painful experiences that you can’t get any other way. And the greatest joy of my life is being able to share those treasures with others – the freedom, the release from shame and guilt, the joy of knowing without a doubt that God will never leave you nor forsake you (Heb 13:5), no matter what you’ve done, no matter what has been done to you, You are a precious, cherished, son or daughter of the King of Kings and He WANTS to spend time with you every day, answer your deepest prayers, make you a blessing to others, and fulfill the dreams in you He dreams for you! No pain you go through has to be wasted as an exercise in futility. It can be the launching place for your greatest triumph! Be the answer to someone else’s heart cry through the areas that you’ve mined treasure from your pain! BE a blessing!
