The Gift of Comfort

Comfort is a gift that is beyond measure in its value. When it is received in times of hardship and pain, it is a refreshment like no other. The joy in it is also seen when it is shared. Often times the comfort we have received in difficult times of our own, opens doors for us to share that same comfort with others who are struggling later in similar circumstances. A hand of Hope, a solace redeemed, a tearful hug as the empathy of the memory of our own experience flows like a cooling stream to others in a parched land of discouragement.
